Our school philosophy begins with the needs of the child and reaches out towards the family and future. It is essential that school is an island of stability where a child can be secure and happy whatever social pressures exist outside. Our staff, supported by parents and carers, governors and wider professionals work together to create a happy, secure and welcoming environment. 

At Pikemere, we have 3 values that are central to everything we do: collaboration, resilience and belonging. It is our role to encourage children to demonstrate these values in order to be the best they can.

During the Autumn term of 2024, our school council worked with school leaders to reinvent our school values and make them more memorable for the children. The 5 values chosen through a whole school vote including children, staff, parents and governors were then combined to make 3 that are memorable and referred to in all aspects of school.
