Hope you’ve had a wonderful time, enjoying Christmas with your family and friends, and managed to relax a little after all the chaos of the season! The Year 6 team were really grateful for your generous gifts to us! Thank you so much.
But it’s a new term with lots of exciting new learning to take place…
…so here is a copy of our projected learning- however this can change sometimes.
Our timetable has changed a little this term. PE is now on a Monday and Wednesday.
Accelerated reader quizzes can be found on the link below, however, we want your children to develop a passion for reading, so we would encourage them to read whatever they love at home too.
Maths and English homework is still given out on a Wednesday, and due back in the following Tuesday. It is important that your child attempts to complete work set as reinforcement of concepts studied in class, but equally importantly, as practice for high school expectations.
It’s a very short term this term, and the summer term will be here before we know it!
Our SATs tests will take place on the week of 13th-16th May 2024.
Here are links to useful revision tools to support your child if you wish them to keep their skills ticking over during the Easter holiday when it eventually comes. This is here only as a further support if you want to access it, however there is absolutely no expectation to complete it.
I have included the answers for you to check your child’s work, but I don’t need to see the work back in school after Easter break.
