Hello Year 1!
Welcome back Year 1! We are now in the summer term, our last term together! We have lots of exciting things planned over the summer term and we will be working hard to prepare for our Phonics Screening Check which takes place after half term.

PE days
Don’t forget that your PE days are on a Monday and Friday. Monday will be with Miss Williams and Friday will be with Mr Wakefield. Mrs Shortland will see the children out of class on Friday afternoon.
Phonics
After half term your children will take part in the Year 1 Phonics screening check. Please find information below.
This is an example of a previous check. All of the children are very familiar with these documents and have taken part in serveral practice tests.
