3 Prime Areas of Learning:

Personal, Social and Emotional Development – Self Regulation, Managing Self and Building Relationships

Communication and Language – Listening, Attention and Understanding and Speaking

Physical Development – Gross Motor Skills and Fine Motor Skills

Four Specific Areas of Learning :

Literacy – Comprehension, Word Reading and Writing

Mathematics – Number and Numerical Patterns

Understanding the World – Past and Present, People, Culture and Communities and The Natural World

Expressive Arts and Design – Creating with Materials and Being Imaginative and Expressive

Our Learning in Autumn 2

We will be looking at Into the Woods. This will include The Three Little Pigs and Stickman

Stickman by Julia Donaldson.

Mrs Fowler’s Must Read Picture Books

I have a real passion for books and stories. They play such an important part in the development of language, reading and writing.

Here are some of my favourites ( I could add hundreds!):

and remember…

Pikemere School Alsager
I love Pikemere School because the Teachers and TA’s are nice and helpful. Whenever you are upset they will talk to you – whatever it is.
