Year 3 Autumn Term 2024
Here is our timetable: Autumn 1 timetable for websiteDownload
Click on the link below to discover what we will be learning during the Autumn Term.
MyMaths homework will be live on a Wednesday and needs to be completed by the following Wednesday. If you are not sure of your log in, you will have reminder of this on the first day back.
A new spelling pattern will be introduced on a Monday and a list of words will be stuck into your planner for you to practise at home during the week. These spellings will not be tested, but I would like to see them being spelt correctly in your written work during lessons.
We would love you to read as much as you can at home-even 5 minutes every night will really help you in class. Remember, if you do read to an adult, get them to sign your planner and we will give you team points!
You will need to wear your full school uniform everyday apart from THURSDAY and FRIDAY. On these two days, you can wear your P.E. kit for the whole day as this is when you will do your P.E. lessons.
On a THURSDAY Year 3 will have PE with Mr Ollier and on a FRIDAY afternoon, we will have PE with Miss Cross .
For P.E, you will need to wear your navy Pikemere P.E. polo shirt, navy jogging bottoms or shorts, Pikemere P.E. hoodie and suitable trainers. Remember to also tie your hair up if it is long and remove all jewellery.
Hoodie
Joggers
Pikemere PE polo shirt

Make sure you bring a healthy snack for morning break and to keep you going until lunchtime. You will also need a packed lunch if you are not having a school dinner.
Remember we are a NUT FREE school and this is because we have some children who have severe allergies to nuts and need to avoid any contact with them.
It would be beneficial to bring a named water bottle too to help keep you hydrated during the day-remember this will help your brain work better.
Don’t forget to name ANYTHING you bring into school.
