Hello Reception! Welcome to our class page! I hope you all had a lovely summer break!
Our school day starts at 8.45am. We will greet the children at the main door on the Key Stage One yard. The door will close at 8.55am. If you arrive after this time, please sign in via the office. Children will leave school at 3.15pm via the same door. In order to keep your child safe, we may occasionally ask for a password if we do not recognise the adult coming to collect them. If someone different will be collecting, please call the school office to let us know. Your patience is very much appreciated as we get to know faces and extended families!

We are a nut free school, with members of our community that have severe allergies to nuts and nut-based products. Please be aware of snacks in lunch boxes, particularly cereal bars, or peanut butter sandwiches. Our children are entitled to free fruit and milk and these are available at break times and are always very popular with the class!

We are proud of our attendance as a school. Please keep up the good work!

Please read the information pack below regarding Little Wandle phonics.

Your child will bring home 3 books each week.
Reading is essential across all areas of school life and supports children’s learning in every subject. Exposure to different kinds of stories is great for language development, broadening our understanding of the world, and so much more. Reading for pleasure and visits to your local library are highly encouraged!
